A: OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) involves us producing a product based on your exact design and specifications. ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) involves our team designing, developing, and manufacturing a product based on your concept or market needs. You can think of OEM as "your design, our production," and ODM as "our joint design and our production."
Q: What is your typical Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for custom projects?
A: We pride ourselves on flexibility. While we are optimized for large-volume orders, we can accommodate smaller MOQs for custom projects, especially for market testing. The specific MOQ depends on the customization complexity. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
Q: How long does the sampling process take, and what are the costs?
A: For standard customizations (e.g., logo printing), samples are typically ready in 5-7 working days. For new product development (ODM), it may take 10-15 working days. We usually provide the first sample free of charge; the customer is only responsible for the courier fee. Subsequent sample modifications may incur a nominal fee.
Q: Can you help us ensure our custom products comply with international regulations (e.g., FDA, EU)?
A: Absolutely. We have extensive experience producing disposable cutlery for global markets. We can advise on and manufacture products that comply with FDA, LFGB, and other international food contact material regulations.
Q: How do you protect our intellectual property and design confidentiality?
A: We take IP protection extremely seriously. We are willing to sign a comprehensive Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before discussing any project details. For OEM projects, your designs are treated as confidential. For ODM projects, ownership rights are clearly defined in our contract.
Q: What is the lead time for mass production after sample approval?
A: Production lead times vary based on order quantity and complexity. For standard container loads, typical production times range from 25-35 days. We will provide a detailed project timeline upon order confirmation.
Q: What file formats do you require for our logo artwork?
A: We prefer vector-based files such as .AI, .EPS, or .PDF for the highest quality reproduction. High-resolution (300 dpi) .PNG or .JPG files may also be acceptable for some applications.
